About this archive
DollOrigin keeps one checkable record per work: who designed it, which brand released it, whether a line is a head, a body, or a full set, when preorder or cutoff happens, where the official page is, and which source the words came from.
There is no shop, no proxy buying, and no stock display. A shop is not treated as the designer. Reading the archive does not require an account. Corrections and claims wait for a person to review them.
Images
An image is public only after a person records a license that is still valid. Unknown, pending, expired, and revoked images stay hidden. The written record can remain. A picture existing on the web is not permission for DollOrigin to show it.
Time
A date stays a date and is not turned into midnight. A month is not placed on a day. Timezones use IANA names such as Asia/Shanghai. A postponement stays a postponement.
Languages
Chinese and English cover the whole interface. If an English or Japanese summary is missing, the work page shows the Chinese summary and says so. The original name is kept and is not replaced by a translation. The three languages share one domain: /zh/, /en/, and /ja/.
How a record becomes public
An editor writes a draft, attaches a source, and keeps a short excerpt for each key field. Images need a license. After the checks pass, a person with publish permission approves a snapshot. Later edits stay off the public page until another approval.
Glossary
People confirmed the sense of these words. They are labels for the archive, not a legal reading of a sale. A Japanese word for rerelease or cutoff is not treated as a current offer by itself.
This data
Public records come from official pages. The latest check is 2026-10-26. Anything marked Unverified is not a confirmed fact. Works have no images, only official links, because there is no image license.
